Here’s the thing. It’s been way longer than nine months, and there’s no sign that you’re moving on. But, hey, we’re glad you’re still here – and we love that you have hope. We’re still here, too. And we’re just as curious as you are to see how this story plays out.
We wrote it. We shot it. We loved it. But the network didn’t. It was the rare instance in which we had a creative disagreement. Our executives simply felt that it was too soon for us to be spoofing ourselves. They felt that it was something to be attempted in a third or a fourth season, but not at the end of the first season, when the audience was still bonding with these characters.
Back in the day ourchart.com was groundbreaking. It “invented” interconnectivity even before Facebook took the stage. A website where LGBTQ+ could meet up with each other, share stories, discuss their favorite show, get links...
